Meet Larry

Larry’s focus at HWM is on helping individuals and their families accumulate, enjoy, preserve and transfer their wealth. The team approach at Harbor Wealth Management allows Larry to share his experience and skills in tax, financial planning and portfolio design with all clients of the firm.

During a career that spans more than forty years, Larry has advised a full spectrum of clients – from large corporations to small non-profits over many industries including manufacturing, lodging, retail and healthcare. Larry became a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) in 1975 and received his certification as a PFS (Personal Financial Specialist) from the AICPA in 1996. In that year, Larry received the silver medal for having the second-highest score in the nation.

From his early years as a volunteer income tax preparer, Larry has felt a need to give back to his community. His roles have ranged from being an alderman in Shawano to treasurer of multiple organizations including his church, United Way, Howe Neighborhood Resource Center and the Sunrise Optimist Club of Green Bay. He has honed his leadership skills by being president of the Shawano Area Community Foundation, Shawano Chamber of Commerce and most recently CASA of Brown County. Larry’s wife Deb has been with him on this journey for 40 years. The couple has been blessed with two sons, Eric and Craig, their wives Sara and Diana and four granddaughters and one grandson, Scarlett, Evelyn, Grace, Claire, and Jack. After years of baseball, football and soccer, Larry and Deb are learning about the Disney Princesses, and that pink and purple are colors, too!
